The Blind Owl Band are returning to Lake Placid for a show on August 12.
Delta Blue will host the show, featuring the completion of The Deadly Gentlemen’s show for Song’s Of Mirror Lake, starting at 9 p.m.
The Blind Owl Band has been through a rigorous touring schedule as of late. On July 30, they were part of Troy’s Rocking on the River series. They stopped at Nectar’s in Burlington, VT on July 31 and are scheduled to play the Sterling Stage String Fling at Sterling, N.Y. tonight.
Before Lake Placid, they will be one of the many featured acts at next week’s two-day festival, Backwoods Pondfest in Peru, N.Y.
Armed with a banjo, standup bass, mandolin and guitar, Arthur Buezo, Christian Cardiello, Eric Munley and James Ford create harmonious vocals and melodies that stretch as high as the Adirondack Mountains and their sound is an authentic, rebellious freight train. In fact, the 4-piece string band, who originates from Saranac Lake call their original style of music Adirondack Freight Train String Music.
