Many bands come and go; Max Creek, however, does not fall into this category. Since 1971, Creek has been a household name in the Northeast music scene. Having never played The Times Union Center or SPAC, Creek still has had a constant following throughout the years. Headlining festivals such as StrangeCreek and Camp Creek, they have been able to keep their fan base consistent and pleased. Mixing their set with covers and originals that have become classics, the band rarely disappoints new fans or old.
Black Mountains Symphony will be one of the two opening acts for Max Creek. Bringing a barrage of sounds to the stage, including classical violin, funky folk, and dirty disco, BMS is surely going to keep the party going after local favorites, The High Peaks Trio, bring their bluesy jamming to the stage.
This party will take place Thursday, June 12 at one of the hottest venues around, The Putnam Den in Saratoga. Tickets are $15 in advance or 18 the day of (a $5 charge is issued to those under 21) and can be purchased here for a $2 dollar surcharge or at the venue for no extra fee.
