Dopapod and Aqueous take to the Putnam Den stage Thursday, April 24 in Saratoga Springs, NY, with doors opening at 8:30 p.m.
Thursday’s show will be the maiden stop on Aqueous’ 2014 Summer Tour. The four-piece band has a self-described “funk-tastic groove/rock band” sound with infectious lyrics, and shredding guitars. They’re also well known for improvisation to please the crowds. Aqueous was also featured in ‘s inaugural March Madness Tournament last month.

Dopapod is still riding on the crest of their 2012 release of Redivider. They’ve been touring the nation, showcasing their talent at several festivals that include the likes of Gathering of the Vibes, Camp Bisco, Electric Forest, Summer Camp, Peach Fest, Burning Man, Bear Creek, and Catskill Chill. The band refuses to identify themselves within just one genre. Instead, they opt to describe their sound as “genre melting.” Check out their video above for a taste.
Tickets are available now through Ticketfly.com for $12 ($15 on the day of the show). Only patrons aged 18 and over will be allowed in.
