The Hollow in Albany will host three up and coming bands this Friday the 18th that are sure to get your weekend started. Sam Pine Presents: Nine Votes Short, Ladies Drink Free and Gang of Thieves, these bands of the Northeast are combining forces to create the ultimate show in Upstate NY. The 21 and up event has a cover of $10, with doors at 9 pm and the show set to start at 9:30 pm.
Nine Votes Short is a local band from the Albany area, a lighthearted punk quartet that will give you the cardio workout that you’ve been dreaming of. Ladies Drink Free is the 9 piece riot starter that every party needs with a fusion of funk and rock. One of Vermont’s top rock and roll bands, Gang of Thieves, will be blaring that dirty funky rock as they still their way into your musical heart. Gang of Thieves will be releasing their latest album Thunderfunk this weekend at ArtsRiot in Burlington, VT which they recorded with Grammy Award winning engineer Michael Rosen (Santana, Rancid, Less than Jake).
