The Mallett Brothers Band Land at Putnam Den on Friday, January 10th

The Putnam Den has been importing an eclectic line-up for years.  This January is no exception and starts out with Portland, Maine-based alternative country artists, The Mallett Brothers Band.  The Mallett Brothers were recently nominated for Band of the Year for New England.  Their competition gives you some idea of the talent that is going to be gracing the stage this Friday night.  MBB are up against Deer Tick, Della Mae, Gentlemen Hall and Kingsley Flood.

This six-pieced band brings a big sound and is suitable for all age groups (over 18 for this show).  Expect a crowd that ranges from 18 to 80 and everyone will have a smile on their face as their toes will be a tapping.  They will be playing old favorites as well as tracks off their new album Land.  Now available at iTunes, give them a listen and come down to see them live, right here in Upstate New York.

Doors open at 8 and tickets are only $7 (+$5/under 21).  Joining the MBB will be local Adirondack openers Decadence. Get there early and bring a friend, because it’s going to a long night of dancing and whooping and hollering.  Roots music/Americana is talking the music world by storm and MBB has that bull by the horns.
