Cabinet Kicks Off Late Fall Tour with Stops in Albany and Syracuse

cabinetPennsylvania Newgrass band Cabinet will move through the east for a brief, late fall tour through four states and DC. Cabinet will be picking through Upstate NY before heading to Stroudsburg, PA for a two-night stint as part of the Horn-O-Plenty Getaway.  On Friday, November 22, Cabinet will perform at The Hollow in Albany with special guest, Rebel Darling. On Saturday, November 23, Cabinet is set to play between Floodwood and the Rusty Doves at the Westcott in Syracuse.

Cabinet is a six-member team of musicians that draw influences from The Grateful Dead and old-timey bluegrass transforming the past to create a fresh and current sound. A banjo, a fiddle, a mandolin rounded out with guitar, bass and drums; surely this is a recipe for a foot-stomping night (or two) of dancing. Take a listen:
