RESTLESS STREETS (& more) set to bring Metal back to the Putnam Den

This Sunday the Putnam Den reinstitutes it’s metal authority over the Saratoga region.  In the past the Den has been known for providing some of the best hard rock and hard core shows north of Albany.  wel, Sunday’s are now a bit heavier as a new series called “Heavy, Heavy Sunday” is released this Sunday May 26th!

The line-up is powerhouse Albany band getting ready to break it open and hit the big-time, Restless Streets.  How big are RS going to be? Well, When Falling in Reverse cancelled a resent show at UCH, Restless Streets was called in to replace them.  They have shared the stage with some of the biggest names in hardcore and locals better catch this 518 HC band while they are still playing for $7 a show.

Next up on the line-up is The Primrose Path, who again seem to be shining stars in the Albany scene.  Having opened for countless national acts, their time is quickly coming, too.  The Primrose Path is known to have a very loyal following and hopefully that loyal fan base shows their love for the band when they venture a little further north into Saratoga Springs.

When I first saw Cancel My Funeral, I was impressed by how they seemed to have well-composed songs that you could follow and feel a part of with your first listen.  The band hails from Whitehall and is unfortunately breaking up after this show.  So, Cancel My Funeral fans – this is YOUR LAST CHANCE to see this great band live. come support the guys and thank them for their contribution to the scene.

If We Sleep is an energetic band composed of 5 members from upstate New York. The melodic hardcore 5-piece has played shows all over New York and have a dedicated following earning them spots on shows playing with bands the likes of Vanna, From Atlantis, Lions!Tigers!Bears, Armor for the Broken, Us, From Outside, The Bunny The Bear, A Bullet For Pretty Boy and more.

Riverview is a late, but welcome, edition to the line-up. This Massachusetts band is committed to touring and getting their music out there for new fans to hear.  They will be the first band to go on stage and a great reason to get their early.  A great sound from this band that have been together for just a couple years. Be prepared for a lot of energy, intense lyrics and to be blown away.
