The All Good Music Festival, based in Legend Valley, Thornville, Ohio, has released their initial line-up this week featuring Furthur with Phil Lesh and Bob Weir. While the headliner isn’t a huge surprise, other big names like Pretty Lights, Primus, STS9 and Grace Potter show the diversity of this year’s line-up. Other festie favorites round out the initial listing including Keller Williams, Papadosio and The Infamous Stringdusters. The All Good Music Festival is also promising a lot more acts to be named over the upcoming weeks as the July 18-21 extravaganza approaches.
While Furthur has played All Good before, this appearance marks the first united return to the site of a frequent summer stop on Grateful Dead tour. Fans can expect Lesh & Weir to push the musical envelope with jaw-dropping improvisations and loving renditions of Grateful Dead classics, with an all-star band that includes keyboardist Jeff Chimenti, drummer Joe Russo, guitarist John Kadlecik, and vocalists Sunshine Becker and Jeff Pehrson.
