Rock for Recovery at Valentines, January 4th and 5th

The music industry has been supporting worthy causes for many years, whether it was the concert of Bangladesh in ’71 or LiveAid and FarmAid in ’85, a few weeks ago it was 12/12/12 for the Sandy Storm victims.  Well, area promoters Guthrie Bell Productions has teamed up the EQX (102.7), Metroland and Exit 97.7 WEXT to provide  a local event that you can participate in to help the families of the tragic events in Newtown, Connecticut.

Valentine’s will be hosting two nights of music for EverRibbon: My Sandy Hook Family Fund and Newtown Youth & Family Services.  This is your opportunity to give back while listening to great music from Conehead Buddha, Timbe Coup, Erin Harkes Band and many more.  Doors open both nights at 7pm and the show will start at 8pm.  tickets will be $10 at the door (no pre-sale for this event.)
