George Clinton came to Rochester Friday, June 9, and helped the venue’s opening night live up to it’s name. Funk ‘n Waffles extended their reach from Syracuse with the acquisition of the old Water Street Music Hall. The venue features a main room and also a smaller room with a stage for smaller acts, which also includes the bar and restaurant area. George Clint and Parliament Funkadelic played for almost two hours, playing both a mix of old and new material. You can check out future George Clinton dates here and the rest of Funk ‘n Waffles Music Hall’s shows for the summer here.
