Electric funk therapists, otherwise known as Spafford, unleashed huge plans ahead for their upcoming Fall 2017 tour. The quartet’s national headlining tour will span 34 dates total, including their debut headlining performance at the famed Brooklyn Bowl in Brooklyn.
Fans can expect to hear maximum amounts of music from the Phoenix, Arizona natives, who plan to jam each show on the coast to coast tour with two whole sets of stacked tunes, both new and old. Kicking off at Asheville Music Hall, the tour brings the four through a handful of New York dates, including Brooklyn Bowl on Sept. 30, Ithaca’s the Haunt on October 1 and Albany’s Lucky Strike Social in Crossgates Mall on October 8.
Spafford will bring their boundary pushing jams and sonic sounds to a two-night stint in Denver, CO, a slot at Suwanee Hulaween and in partnership with CID Entertainment, they’ll bring VIP experiences to their faithful fans. This limited-run “All In” VIP ticket includes admission to the Ogden Theatre on Thursday Nov. 9, as well as an intimate VIP-only performance at the fresh Globe Hall in Denver, CO on Saturday, Nov. 11. Going “all in” for a ticket would include a meet & greet/photo opportunity with the band, access to the Nov. 9 Ogden Theatre soundcheck, a limited edition poster signed by each member, a high-quality download of soundboard audio from both nights, one piece of exclusive Spafford merch and on-site concert hosts. Talk about a bundle!
Tickets go on sale to the general public this Friday, June 16 with most tickets up for grabs by 11AM. A few exceptions come with Brooklyn Bowl, Higher Ground and Ogden Theatre shows beating the clock and going on sale an hour earlier at 10AM. Sick of insane ticket fees? Spafford’s looking out for the fans and providing a Songkick presale to get around those nasty, added on dollars! Most dates on the tour can be purchased through the fan club presale on Songkick, launching on June 14 at 11AM.
