King Buffalo to Tour Europe and North America with Elder

King Buffalo will be covering an impressive amount of territory this year as they take on both a European and North American Tour. They recently announced their debut European tour with Elder, their label-mates on Europe’s Stickman Records. This week, the bands announced plans for a North American expedition together this fall, starting on October 11 at St. Vitus in Brooklyn.

“Elder is an amazing band who we’ve respected for quite sometime,” drummer Scott Donaldson told NYS Music. “To be making our maiden voyage to Europe with them and following with a stateside tour is exciting to say the least.”

King Buffalo will be celebrating the one year anniversary of their debut LP, Orion, while in Europe this summer. The psychedelic odyssey met with accolades here and abroad. Originating from Rochester, NY, the trio includes Sean McVay on guitar & lead vocals, Dan Reynolds on bass, and Scott Donaldson on drums and vocals. Just in time for the summer tour, they’ve posted new t-shirt designs that will be available for purchase at shows and online.

Boston-based progressive band Elder is known for its adventurous soundscapes. They will be releasing Reflections of a Floating World, their fourth full-length LP, on June 2 via Armegeddon Label (US) and Stickman Records (Europe). The trio is comprised of Nicholas DiSalvo on guitar, keys, vocals , Jack Donovan on Bass, and Matt Couto on drums. This year, they are adding a touring member, Michael Risberg, who will play guitar and keyboard. Risberg also provided support in the studio with the recording of Reflections of a Floating World. Since their inception in 2005, Elder has toured the US and Europe on multiple occasions.
