The Bowlive VII lineup has been finalized with the addition of the London Souls for the June 10 night show. They join Sam Kininger. Also added were openers Lawrence on June 9 and Los Colognes on June 16.
Soulive will play their Beatles cover album Rubber Soulive in its entirety on June 8.
Bowlive VII takes place June 7 to 10 and June 14 to 17.
Bowlive returns to New York City’s Brooklyn Bowl after a year off. The seventh Bowlive features eight nights of Soulive with many special guests, including Steve Kimock, Karl Denson, John Scofield and Nigel Hall.
Soulive brings back their residency at the Brooklyn Bowl in New York City June 7 to 10 and 14 to 17. As with past Bowlives, the seventh iteration features a number of special guests over the eight nights. The first night features guitarist Steve Kimock along with Karl Denson on saxophone. Doyle Bramhall II joins them for night two. R&B singer Antwaun Stanley teams up with the Snarky Puppy horn section for the third night. Soulive plays two shows on June 10, the fourth day. The early show, at 2 p.m., is an all ages show called Bowlive for Kids. Later that night, saxist Sam Kininger joins the band.
The final four nights of Bowlive VII feature the Shady Horns from Lettuce. Joining them will be Grant Kwiecinski from GRiZ and Son Little on June 14. Guitarist John Scofield guests on June 15. The Meters bassist, George Porter, Jr., is joined by guitarist Marcus King for the June 16 show. Lettuce keyboardist Nigel Hall joins his bandmates for the final night of the run.
Tickets for Bowlive VII are on sale now and run $25 to $30 depending on the night. Tickets for Bowlive for Kids are $15. A special eight-night pass is available for $200.
