Folkfaces Album Release Tour

Buffalo area folk, jazz and blues musicians, Folkfaces, will head out on a limited 7-city tour, to celebrate the release of their upcoming debut album, How Long?. The “How Long?” Album Release Tour, will hit some of the band’s favorite jam spots to perform between central, and western part of New York state and Ohio.

How Long’s release date on April 7, will coincide with the first show of the tour at the Tap Room in Westfield. Physical copies of the album will be available and it will also be available through online services such as Spotify, iTunes, and BandCamp.

Folkfaces will hold an album release party on the last date on the tour in the band’s hometown of Buffalo, at Nietzschhe’s, on April 15, at 9 p.m. The event will also feature Pine Fever, Fakaui and the Spring Street Family Band. Admission is $5, attendees must be 21 and over unless accompanied by an adult.

Folkfaces had a fire lit inside themselves, and started working on How Long?, after the band won Artvoice’s Battle of Original Music in 2015. The band logged numerous hours of studio time and some personnel changes throughout the process of making the album. Jesse Sprinkle of Blue Brick Recordings, and Alan Whitney of Herkimer Street Studio, lent their instrumental talents to the album.

Folkfaces is Tyler Westcott (vocals, guitar, banjo, kazoo), Dan Borodzik (slide guitar, harmonica, vocals), Ellen Pieroni (saxophone, vocals), Patrick Jackson (upright bass) and Dan Schwach (percussion, washboard, vocals).
