Power-Soul Trio Wild Adriatic Swings Through Connecticut and New York

Wild Adriatic comes through the tri-state area again, flaunting their phenomenal rock and blues based album, Feel. It’s set to be a fantastic show with People’s Blues of Richmond bringing their “carnival-like mayhem [and] their dark, blues-infused psychedelia,” to the stage before hand – this Friday, March 24 in Fairfield CT. The Saratoga Springs born group has made quite the name for themselves over the past five years, releasing six rock/soul/funk albums as well as playing alongside Black Taxi and Blues Travelers.

Their most recent album has received a huge amount of praise from fans. It contains what is arguably some of their best work and could act as a perfect introduction to those unfamiliar with the “power-soul” group they define themselves as. The goal of the album, according to their website, was to, “…shine a light on the band’s strength as a live act, avoiding click tracks, digital instruments, sampled sounds, and other tricks of the recording studio.” Listeners can read a synopsis of Feel, written by NYS Music’s own Eli Stein and download the album on multiple platforms, including Spotify, iTunes and Soundcloud.

The group will move their way to New York after their Connecticut performance, playing first in Brooklyn April 11, Pawling April 13 and and Ithaca April 14. More information can be found on their page and tickets for their Connecticut show are still on sale over on Fairfield Theater Company’s website.
