Tool’s Spring Tour to Make Stops in Rochester and New York City

Heavy rockers Tool announced tour dates, including a show in Rochester on May 30, the band’s first trip to Western New York in 15 years, and a headlining performance at The Governor’s Ball Music Festival in New York City on June 4. The pioneering alternative metal band is renown for it’s spectacular shows featuring visual effects and lighting.

Tickets for the Rochester show go on sale to the general public Friday, March 17 at 10 a.m., and are available online through Ticketmaster, charge-by-phone (800.745.3000) or by visiting the Blue Cross Arena Box Office at One War Memorial Square, Rochester, NY.

A limited number of tickets are still available for The Governor’s Ball at Randall’s Island Park in New York City on Sunday, June 4. They can be purchased online at the Governor’s Ball website.

While Tool has not released an album since 2006’s 10,000 Days, word is that vocalist Maynard James Keenan has laid down vocal tracks for an upcoming release. No date has been announced for this eagerly anticipated album from the band.
