Kitchen Dwellers to Tour in Support of New Album

The Kitchen Dwellers will set out on an extensive U.S. tour in support of their forthcoming album, Ghost in the Bottle. The tour makes a number of stops in the Northeast, including Buffalo, Albany and New York City.

Montana-based bluegrass act, the Kitchen Dwellers, are set to tour in support of their second studio album, Ghost in the Bottle. The tour kicked off Friday in Durango, Colorado. The tour, which includes several festival stops, crosses back and forth across the country through mid-June, which finds them back in Colorado. They also have a couple festival dates in July and August. They hit the Northeast pretty heavily in April and May. They have three dates in New York – April 25 at Buffalo Iron Works, April 27 at The Hollow in Albany and April 28 at The Gramercy Theatre in New York City with Cabinet. They hit up a few major festivals, including both Delfest and Summer Camp over Memorial Day weekend and the Northwest String Summit July 13 to 16.

Ghost in the Bottle is the Kitchen Dwellers first album since their self-titled debut in 2013. It was produced by Andy Thorne of Leftover Salmon. The 11 tracks feature a number of guest musicians including Twiddle’s Mihali Savoulidis, Anders Beck of Greensky Bluegrass, Tim Carbone of Railroad Earth and Bill Payne of Little Feat. The cover art was pulled from a painting by banjo player Torrin Daniels’ father Todd Daniels. The album is currently available for pre-order.
