Purple Hatter’s Ball Initial Lineup Includes Emancipator, P-Groove

The Purple Hatter’s Ball celebrates its 10th anniversary this year and features Emancipator, Perpetual Groove and Zach Deputy as part of the initial lineup.

The Purple Hatter’s Ball, a three-day music festival benefiting the Rachel Morningstar Foundation now in its 1oth year, takes place June 2 to 4 at the Spirit of Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, Florida. From the press release:

The 2017 Purple Hatter’s Ball (PHB) line-up features organic livetronica artist Emancipator, Athens, GA indie-prog band Perpetual Groove, island-infused gospel soul ninja Zach Deputy, The Russ Liquid Test – a new live 4-piece electronic music project from New Orleans, LA that is signed to GRiZ’s All Good Records, the conscious world-reggae sounds of DubConscious – Rachel’s favorite band, the one-and-only sacred steel master Roosevelt Collier and his band, live electronic trio The Malah, twin producer–duo MZG, and many more.

The festival features three stages of music, yoga classes, live art performances, a silent auction and a disc golf tournament hosted by Zach Deputy. This year’s festival will also feature food from several top chefs to honor Rachel, who was an aspiring chef.

A limited number of early bird tickets are available now for $79. VIP upgrades are available.

The Rachel Morningstar Foundation, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization created in memory of long-time Spirit of Suwannee Park friend and music festival lover Rachel Morningstar Hoffman, works to educate the public on the importance of guidelines for law enforcement’s use of criminal informants.
