Blondie and Garbage announced they will be co-headlining this summer’s must-see tour, with multiple shows in New York. Performances include Artpark in Lewiston on July 25, at the Bethel Woods Center for the Arts on July 29 and the Beacon Theatre in New York City on August 1. LA duo Deap Vally will be providing support on this leg of the tour. Tickets go on sale February 17 through Ticketmaster, but pre-sale tickets are available now, using the code RAGEANDRAPTURE.
Blondie is still riding the cutting edge of New Wave with their latest release, “Fun”, off their upcoming album. Pollinator is set to be released on May 5 on BMG. Pre-orders, including a limited edition red vinyl, can be ordered online.
Garbage’s 2016 album Strange Little Birds debuted at #1 on Billboard’s on Billboard’s Top Rock Albums and Alternative Albums chart. Garbage has compiled material for an autobiographical coffee table book, This Is The Noise That Keeps Me Awake, which is available for preorder.
