Intrepid Travelers Winter Tour Blazes a Trail Across New York

Intrepid Travelers announced that for their winter tour, they will play shows exclusively in New York state. The progressive jam band played two consecutive nights in Oswego last month, and will continue to tour across the state through the end of March. The next show is in Albany on February 16. From there, they will span the state from the easternmost regions to their hometown of Buffalo, and then swing back to hit up the Finger Lakes and Southern Tier.

Intrepid Travelers specialize in creating sprawling improvisational soundscapes, infusing elements of  jazz, rock, funk, and bluegrass.  Most of what they play live is original, but they sometimes throw in a cover song that’s been given a groovy IT makeover. Playing each night without a prescribed setlist, no two shows on this tour will be identical.
