Southern Soul Assembly to Embark on Anticipated 2017 Tour

All-star musician collective of JJ Grey, Marc Broussard, Luther Dickinson and Anders Osborne, known as Southern Soul Assembly, is hitting the road once again in March for their highly anticipated 2017 tour.

According to a press release, the Southern-style artists will “come together for a special writers-in-the-round style acoustic jam.” It will be a culmination of their individual successes as a result of years of performing separately, and their love for each other’s musical prowess and regional heritage.

The last time Southern Soul Assembly toured together was back in the spring of 2014, when the powerhouse group played a string of sold out shows all over the U.S. with stops in major cities such as L.A., Birmingham, Atlanta, Nashville, and more.

This year their tour kicks off on March 1st, in Georgia at the Variety Playhouse in Atlanta, and snakes through Tennessee, Mississippi, Louisiana, DC and Pennsylvania. They have two dates in NY in mid-March, including March 16 at the Tarrytown Music Hall and March 17 at the City Winery.
