TONIGHT Aqueous and Mungion Post-Phish Party at DROM

The Phish NYE run is finally upon us! After the first round of Phish at MSG tonight, you can catch Buffalo groove rockers, Aqueous, and Chicago-based progressive jam outfit, Mungion, live at the DROM on 85th Avenue in NY.

Aqueous is one of the biggest emerging talents on the scene today. They have three studio efforts under their belt, and a collection of “Live Nugs” from their acclaimed live acts. Their recently released EP, Best in Show, was voted the best album by our staff and reader polls for the Best of NYS Music this year. To read a review of the album, go here.

Mungion is a four-piece act that winds elements of jazz and funk into creative compositions. The band is Justin Reckamp on guitar, Joe Re on keys, Sean Carolan on bass and Matt Kellen on drums, while everyone pitches in on vocals. Their first studio effort, Scary Blankets, is a great depiction of their craftsmanship as musicians and composers.
