JAZZ is PHSH is an all-star instrumental “supergroup” tribute to Phish, that re-imagines beloved songs in a jam-jazz fusion, inspired by the Grateful Dead.

Since their formation back in 2015, they have scored their own distinction as a renowned Phish tribute band, improvising and composing new and creative instrumental responses that have attracted scores of talented musicians to this project.

The band arrangements and performances are built around their upcoming album which will feature musicians such as Dennis Chambers (Santana, Miles Davis, Parliament Funkadelic), Jeff Coffin (Dave Matthews Band, The Flecktones), Chris Bullock (Snarky Puppy), Michael Ray (Sun Ra, Giant Country Horns, Cosmic Crewe), Kofi Burbridge (Tedeschi Trucks Band, Aquarium Rescue Unit, Trey Anastasio Band), Grant Green Jr. (Groove Masters), Anthony Wellington (Victor Wooten Band), and many more.

The show on Saturday at The Cutting Room will feature two sets, the first will be a mostly seated set, while the band performs the album in its entirety. The second set, however, hopes to start a party that will get people to the dance floor.
