North Coast rockers, Umphrey’s McGee, are making their way back to the Saranac Brewery in Utica on Saturday, September 10 for another evening of musical bliss. Along with their recent visit to Syracuse’s F-Shed a couple weeks ago, the Chicago-based sextet have been vigorously rocking crowds throughout their summer tour with high energy jams, collaborative covers, and plenty of dancing. In the midst of finishing up their impressive summer tour that included recent performances at Lockn’ Festival, Peach Fest, Mountain Jam Festival, and Red Rocks, this group is sure to bring their magic once again.
In addition to their ongoing hectic tour schedule, Umphrey’s recently released their 2015 Hall of Fame album, consisting of 13 fan-picked favorite songs and jams from 2015, worth about 4 hours of ear candy. This release also has some extra kick to it, with a 180 gram colored Limited Edition double LP vinyl and separate “Swag Pack” that includes an album art koozie, 3D pin, and sticker sheet. Saranac’s Summer Concert Series has been attracting some exquisite talent this year to accompany their tasty brews and music-craving crowds with the likes of Grace Potter, Slightly Stoopid, Guster, Dark Star Orchestra, moe., and Gov’t Mule with Dropkick Murphys still to come.
