Working with artist security, venue management and local law enforcement, CMAC instituted increased security measures. In addition to the usual bag searches, concert attendees should expect to be checked by security staff using metal detector wands upon entering the venue. Fans are asked to leave anything metal at home or in their cars when attending concerts. Attendees are also asked to plan accordingly and arrive early.

The security changes come following increased security measures at Madison Square Garden and Wrigley Field, where fans have been greeted by walk-through metal detectors prior to entering the venue. The increased security has been partly in response to the Nov. 14 terrorist attacks in Paris, which included the Bataclan concert hall.
