Fultonville native Sawyer Fredericks is set to head off on a 15-night headlining tour that brings him through much of the Northeast, including five dates in New York, and parts of the Midwest.
Sawyer Fredericks, winner of season eight of the Voice in 2015, will headline a tour in support of his full-length debut album, A Good Storm. The tour makes five stops in New York, kicking off at the Westhampton Beach PAC on July 10. After heading to the Midwest for a week, he returns to New York to play the Highline Ballroom in New York City on July 21. July 23 sees him in Bethel at the Event Gallery at Bethel Woods. The tour closes out with two nights in New York on July 30 at the Schoharie County Fair in Cobleskill and July 31 at Daryl’s House Club in Pawling.
The tour also makes three other stops in the Northeast. On July 25, Fredericks will play the Sellersville Theater in Sellersville, Pennsylvania. He stops in Cambridge, Massachusetts to play the Middle East on July 27. July 29 brings him to Rutland, Vermont’s free outdoor music series.
The 17-year-old Sawyer Fredericks grew up on a farm in Upstate New York. While on the Voice, he was coached by pop star Pharrell, who helped with the production of A Good Storm. Fredericks recently returned to the Voice to perform his latest single, “4 Pockets.” His song “Take it All” premiered at No. 1 on iTunes.
