Eminence Ensemble, trekking across the country all the way from Boulder, Colorado is a band that dabbles in progressive rock-funk fusion.  Their tight grooves and energy will keep the audience vibing late into the evening.  Sprocket, also NYS Music’s March Music Madness winner, won’t be traveling too far for the gig as they’re based in Brooklyn.  The group considers the music they play to be “music for the brain, soul, and dancing shoes.”  Sprocket has played venues such as Webster Hall and Brooklyn Bowl, so the audience is in for a treat at Gold Sounds.  Broke In Stereo, besides playing under a punny band name, is also native to Brooklyn.  The indie blues rock band prides itself on producing music that is higher quality than what is expected by those who hear the word indie in their description.  The Old Main from Utica embraces its Americana folk/rock sound featuring unique instruments like banjo and harmonica.  The group is set to release their debut album soon. These talented bands are sure to put on a great show featuring some great improvised passages and a wide array of styles.
