moe. to Play Saranac Brewery Run in July

moe. is finally starting to let summer dates slip. The band will play the Saranac Brewery July 29 and 30.

On Friday, July 29, Ryan Montbleau will open for moe., and on Saturday, July 30, Baltimore-based Pigeons Playing Ping Pong will start the show. PPPP also opened for moe. on their recent run in Baltimore.

And of course, the beer Saranac Brewery brewed just for moe., Hoppy Hour Hero, will be on tap for the whole run!

Pre-sale starts tomorrow and general on sale begins Tuesday, April 5.

moe. also just announced that they’ll play Backwoods Music Festival in Stroud, Oklahoma on Labor Day weekend, the traditional weekend for the band’s own festival, which has been on hold the last two years.

The Utica dates are a departure from the weekend moe. has played the brewery in recent years in mid-June. The band will instead play in Portland, Maine that weekend, June 16-18, with enough bands joining them to make it almost a mini-festival. The June 16 show will be an intimate show at the smaller Port City Music Hall, then on June 17 and 18, the fun will move to Thompson’s Point. Friday night’s show will include the Wood Brothers and Cabinet, and Saturday will feature Twiddle and Percy Hill.

The only other dates moe. has announced for this summer are an August run in Colorado and an appearance at Peach Fest.
