Keith Urban‘s upcoming tour, in support of his soon-to-be-released album Ripcord, kicks off in Kansas City in June and takes him back and forth across the country with stops at CMAC in Canandaigua on June 24 and the Lakeview Amphitheater in Syracuse on Aug. 25. Opening for Urban are Brett Eldredge and up-and-coming singer/songwriter Maren Morris.

Urban is quoted in the press release:

I’m seriously chomping at the bit to kick off this tour. We’ll be playing a lot of new music fromripCORD, all new production, new cities where we’ve never played…and Brett Eldredge and Maren Morris? It’s gonna be potent and unbridled!

He has already released two singles off Ripcord. The first single, “John Cougar, John Deere, John 3:16,” was nominated for a Grammy award and is his 19th No. 1 hit. The second single, “Break On Me,” is currently in the top 10 and rising.

Eldrege recently released his second album, Illinois, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Country Albums Chart and No. 3 on the Billboard Top 200. It has already produced the No. 1 single “Lose My Mind.” Morris has established herself in Nashville’s music community. Her self-titled EP has been critically acclaimed and hit No. 1 on Billboard’s Heat Seeker Album Chart.

Tickets for the Barclays Center show go on sale this Friday, Feb. 26 at 10 a.m.
