The New Mastersounds Announce Tour with Moon Hooch and New Album

The New Mastersounds will embark on an 18-date tour through the East Coast and into the Midwest this spring, with Brooklyn’s Moon Hooch joining them for most of the shows. They will also release a new album in late April.

British funk/soul/jazz-fusion band The New Mastersounds will embark on a tour of the eastern U.S. in April and May. The tour kicks off on April 14 with a three-night run at New York City’s Brooklyn Bowl, including two shows on Saturday, April 16. They will then head to Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Connecticut, where they will play a free show at the casino’s Wolf Den on April 17.

The rest of the Northeast run include Portland, Maine’s Port City Music Hall on April 19; The Sinclair in Cambridge, Massachusetts on April 20; the Warehouse in Fairfield, Connecticut on April 21; Burlington, Vermont’s Higher Ground on April 22; and Some Kind of Jam in Schuylkill Haven, Pennsylvania on April 23. Moon Hooch will open all the Northeast shows except the last two nights at the Brooklyn Bowl, the free show at Mohegan Sun and the Pennsylvania show.

The New Mastersounds will also unveil a new studio album to be released in late-April. More details about the release are forthcoming.

A pre-sale for the tour is currently underway. The public on sale date for the shows is this Friday, Jan. 29.
