Carrie Underwood Announces Buffalo Date for Upcoming ‘The Storyteller Tour’

Update 04/06/2016: Carrie Underwood has added more dates to her current “The Storyteller Tour – Stories in the Round.” The Fall portion will add 34 new cities across North America. The Fall portion will kick off Sept. 4, in Spokane, Washington, and end on Nov. 28, in West Valley City, Utah.

Two New York dates have been added to the tour. Oct. 25 at Madison Square Garden in New York City, and Oct. 27, at the Times Union Center in Albany. Tickets go on sale Friday April 8 at 10am. The tour comes through Buffalo this spring on May 24, at the First Niagara Center.

Seven-time Grammy Award winner Carrie Underwood has announced that she will bring “The Storyteller Tour – Stories in the Round” to Buffalo’s First Niagara Center on May 24, 2016.

The Storyteller Tour will open the first leg of the touring novel on Jan. 30 in Jacksonville, Florida, and will see chapters written in 40 different arenas across the U.S and Canada.

The tour will support Underwood’s fifth studio album Storyteller. Rolling Stone called the upcoming album the most anticipated country album of the year. The tour is in association with ALMAY cosmetics, who features Underwood in some of its commercials. Easton Corbin and The Swon Brothers will be the special guest for the first leg of the tour.

“The Storyteller Tour – Stories in the Round” tour will feature a unique setting as Underwood will perform for the first time “in the round,” which will consist of the stage set in the middle of the arena floor in a 360-degree setting that will allow fans to feel a more intimate connection with Underwood.

When talking about the upcoming tour, Underwood stated:

“I can’t wait to play new music from the Storyteller for the fans. I am so blessed to have this career and get to do the things I do, but there is nothing like that moment I get to step onto the stage to sing and all the fans are singing along with me.” 

Underwood has won Pollstar’s Top Female Country Touring Artist three times.

Tickets go on sale Nov. 6 at 10 a.m. and will cost and will cost $76 and $46. A random handbill policy will be in effect for this event. Handbills are available now.
