Sterling Stage Kampitheater Announces 2016 Festival Dates

Sterling Stage Kampitheater recently announced its 2016 festival schedule. Keeping with tradition, the venue will hold festivals each of the big holiday weekends, beginning with Folkfest Memorial Day weekend (May 26-29). While there is currently no lineup scheduled for any of the festivals, Sterling has a history of bringing in top-notch performers to their picturesque venue in Upstate New York for the past 20 years.

This year’s Folkfest, though marred by several drug arrests, attracted more than 1,500 attendees and featured stellar performances from Upstate favorites The Ryan Montbleau Band, Sophistafunk and Tim Herron Corporation, among others. Check out Montbleau’s full set from the 2015 Folkfest below:

Independence Day weekend (June 30 – July 5) brings the return of the Ameribeat Festival of the Arts. Jamband stalwarts Max Creek pulled off two sets at this year’s Ameribeat, which was also billed as Sterling’s 20th Anniversary Celebration.

Finally, closing out the 21st year of Sterling Stage Kampitheater is the Last Daze of Summer Festival, to be held Labor Day weekend (Sept. 1-4).
