The Devil Makes Three, a raucous and raw trio, are back on the road touring the East Coast in October. They will start their fall tour in Buffalo at the Town Ballroom on Oct. 20. The show starts at 8 p.m. and tickets are still available online for $24 here.
The band has spent the last few months recording videos for the Salt Stage Sessions and have recently added the videos to YouTube. The Salt Stage, which was created in 2014, is a high-resolution recording system of one or two camera angles capturing a cinematic feeling full of both visual and sonic tonality and paired with simple, clean editing. The project offers both emerging local artists and well-known artists passing through the state of Maine the opportunity to be recorded and archived for all to enjoy. The Devil Makes Three now have four videos at the Salt Stage; the sound is organic and raw with no editing, creating a purely live feel.
Join us at the Town Ballroom on Oct. 20 for what will be a down home, sweaty, bluegrassy, hell of a good time. The band has mentioned on social media that they are planning a full West Coast tour in January so fans on both coasts will have the opportunity to get down with this trio from Vermont who migrated to California with big dreams and an even bigger sound.
