Pearl Palooza Set Times Announced

Vermont radio station EQX and Sugar Productions will take over downtown Albany in less than two weeks, on Saturday, Sept. 12, as they host Pearl Palooza on North Pearl Street. To accommodate the festival, North Pearl Street will be closed from Sheridan Ave to Pine Street.

Pearl Palooza 2

The sixth annual end of summer Pearl Palooza is free to all fans, of all ages, and will feature some of the top-touring acts in the alternative genre on two separate stages.

Better By Morning will kick things off at 1 p.m., while Matisyahu will close out the event at 7 p.m. Both acts will appear on the North Stage.

When talking about Pearl Palooza, EQX Program Director Jeff Morad stated:

The City Of Albany, The Downtown B.I.D., Sugar Productions, EQX and all of our amazing sponsors love this event so much, that we immediately begin work on the next one following the annual event.

It’s a year-long labor of love as we attempt to bring the freshest musical acts to the Capital Region for free. Sometimes you know the bands, sometimes you don’t, but we’re confident that our hard work will pay off when we see the smiling faces in the crowd!

Downtown Albany continues to be the perfect location for a show, that always brings together so many different types of music fans.
