New York City’s experimental jam trio Consider the Source has just announced quite a few shows for a fall tour in support of their June 2015 release double-album World War Trio (Parts II & III).
CTS kicks off their tour on Sept. 10 at The Dock in Ithaca, followed by a stop at Putnam Den in Saratoga Springs on Sept. 12 before venturing on through the country, returning home to the Northeast with their last show at Nectar’s in Burlington, Vermont on Dec. 12.
On top of two live releases, World War Trio (Parts II & III) marks the band’s fifth studio album and is a musically comprehensive followup to their Halloween 2014 release World War Trio (Part I). There is one more album to look forward to out of this three-part series.
Consider the Source’s fall tour will feature a few guests, namely Kung Fu and TAUK among others. Kung Fu will join CTS for shows in the Northeast while TAUK will join them at their Colorado shows.
The band is also offering a free download of the single “Brother Nature” as a token for subscribing to their email list on their website.
