High Peaks Presents is proud to announce the first annual Electric Love Music Festival this weekend, with the Electric Love Bang on Aug. 20, Electric Love Boat on Aug. 21 and Electric Love Fest on Aug. 22 at Charles R. Wood Festival Space in Lake George.
The festival is all about bringing together the community to celebrate love, friendship and the environment with the beautiful backdrop of the Adirondacks.
Tickets are available online via Brown Paper Tickets at electriclovefestival.com. A limited amount of VIP tickets will be available for Aug. 22 with perks to include: VIP viewing platform, private bathroom, shaded lounge area, 1 meal ticket, discounted beer and a goodie bag and for only $50!
One of the goals for the weekend is to bring awareness of the conservation efforts of Lake George. The festival encourages guests to bring their own refillable bottles for the filtered water station or purchase stainless-steel souvenir bottles. The Green Concert Initiative and West Brook Conservation Initiative are striving to provide an enjoyable outdoor event for family and friends while respecting the space around us.
For the inaugural year of Electric Love Festival, the weekend will see some incredible local and national acts to blow you out of the water. The Love Bang Show on Aug. 20 will feature Mirk, Conehead Buddha and Bad Fish – A Tribute to Sublime. Gates open at 4 p.m. and music will take place from 5 to 9:30 followed by the Village of Lake George Fireworks.
The Love Boat Show on Aug. 21 will take place on the Adirondac and will offer music by Peter Prince and Moon Boot Lover, hors d’oeuvres and a one-hour open bar. Boarding begins at 6 p.m. with departure at 6:30 and returns at 8:30.
Aug. 22 will host Rich Ortiz, Peter Prince and Moon Boot Lover, Gang of Thieves, Talking Heads Tribute Band: Start Making Sense, Northern Faces, Genevieve and headliner Mike Doughty and his Band Fantastic.
