Schenectady will host a series of free Sunday shows throughout the summer. The series kicked off this week with Afro-Peruvian Fusion night with Novalima with Maria Zemantauski & GX3+.
Shows start at 7 p.m. Shows will be moved to Proctor’s Theatre if it’s raining. For more info, go to www.musichavenstage.org.

July 12 – Red Baraat with Hot Tamale Brass Band – Indian Bhangra meets New Orleans brass
July 19 – Steeleye Span with Ulster Landing – british folk rock band
July 26 – Bassekou Kouyate and Ngoni Ba – West African Lute Master and his dynamic band, with special guests Baye Kouyate and les Tougarakes
Aug. 2 – The Joey Alexander Trio with SCCC Jazz Combo – 11 year old Jazz piano prodigy
Aug. 9 – Felicia Collins and The Life – Albany’s own David Letterman guitarist with Bobbie Van Detta and The Split
