As reported here at NYS Music recently, Austin Carlile, frontman for Of Mice & Men, was hospitalized for “Undisclosed Reasons.” Carlile has enlightened the media as to what that reason was. Carlile explained that he is suffering from Marfan Syndrome. Carlile stated in tweets that he is being moved to Stanford University Hospital so he can be under the care from his own Marfan Specialist.
Carlile is no stranger to the hospital. He was also hospitalized with complications from a neck injury in 2014 canceling a tour, and in 2010 he had to have surgery for an enlarged aorta valve.
