The man with the slow hand – Eric Clapton – will be celebrating his 70th with two shows at NYC’s Madison Square Garden. Clapton – best known for his solo career – also was in a mighty slew of bands including Cream, The Yardbirds and Blind Faith. The May 1-2 shows will also mark around the 46th anniversary of Cream opening up the brand new MSG in November 1968.
Tickets for these sure sellouts will be available to the general public March 20 on Ticketmaster. Chase bank card holders and Eric Clapton fan club members can try their luck on March 16.
